SH Students Compete At TMSCA State Meet

 

Congratulations to the Spring Hill High School Math/Science team! They recently competed in the Texas Math and Science Coaches Association (TMSCA) 4A State Meet at the University of Texas at San Antonio with several students earning top honors!

Senior Bryce Socoteanu won second place in Calculator and seventh place in Math. Sebastien Suero placed seventh in Calculator for twelfth grade. Junior Bon Kim won second place in Number Sense, and ninth in Math for his grade level. Freshman Noah Wardlaw placed third in Number Sense, and sixth in Science. Sunny Kim placed fifth in Calculator, and seventh in Math for ninth grade. Freshman Mia Bustamante won seventh in Calculator for her grade level. Cohen Rumsey placed third in Science for ninth grade. 

Additionally, Bryce Socoteanu received a TMSCA scholarship for earning the fifth highest total individual score across all four events: Number Sense, Calculator, Math, and Science. 

The Spring Hill Math and Science Team is coached by Jessica Terry and Debby Bass.
