Construction began yesterday on a project at Spring Hill Primary that was recommended by the Facilities Committee and approved by the Spring Hill ISD School Board.
“The Facilities Committee put a great deal of thought and consideration into this project,” said Superintendent Penny Fleet. “The result is a plan that will create additional parking for Primary parents during events, increase driveway space to remove cars from Spring Hill Road during afternoon pickup, and provide more parking for the Baseball / Softball Complex.” The anticipated completion date is late April.
Spring Hill ISD utilizes a Facilities Committee in short range and long range planning. Committee members include School Board Trustees Dave Duncan, Ben Shelton, and Kyle Stephens, as well as Superintendent Penny Fleet, Chief Financial Officer Martin Cobb, Assistant Superintendent of Career and College Readiness Adrian Knight, Director of Maintenance Toby Pleasant, and Director of Technology Steve Hardy.
