The City of Longview buried the Sesquicentennial Time Capsule this week, and Spring Hill ISD was honored to take part. Superintendent Penny Fleet joined with other city leaders in front of the Central Fire Station for the event. A Spring Hill football helmet was included in the time capsule that will be opened in 2070. The Spring Hill Culinary Arts department also baked pound cakes that were served as refreshments.
Special thanks to Spring Hill students Caylee Lewis, Asia Taylor, Abby Newsom and Victoria Bradshaw, and Culinary Arts Teacher Rhetta Collier for their contribution!
